Gustavo Cecchini design. The Federal Folder features a unique pocket clip design where the clip when it is not needed, automatically retracts into the handle. The idea itself is not new, but the implementation is unique: Instead of a delicate clip mechanism, similar to a frame lock, it is integrated into the titanium scale. Simply spread apart the clip with your thumb, and the clip works with the spring force of the scale. A solution that is unsurpassed in simplicity and elegance. The knife also features a titanium body with two milled carbon fiber inserts. Frame lock mechanism. The blade is opened by a flipper mechanism and jimping on the thumb ramp give extra grip. Blade is 440C stainless steel.
